Born and raised in Mexico City, Sasha began her on-camera career at the age of eight.  She appeared in films and on television, both in various national commercials and as the host of a program geared towards pre-teens and teenagers.  Her family relocated to the US in 1997, where she finished her college education and was back in front of the camera soon thereafter. 

She has reported from New York and Las Vegas for Cinecanal, a Latin pay TV movie channel and currently hosts “Zoom,” a movie preview and information capsule which appears throughout their programming schedule.  Previously, Sasha travelled throughout Australia as a guest host for E!’s “Wild On” entertainment program. 

Upon her return, she immediately took the helm of “The Music Room” on CNN International, which provided a weekly look at the top musical acts from around the globe.  Her versatility is clearly evident, as she now hosts ”Detalles con Sasha” on CNN Español.  “Detalles” showcases the latest trends in food, fashion and architecture. 

Most recently, she’s spent the last three and a half years anchoring and reporting for

“Nuestro Rincón,” a Spanish language newscast seen on WKRC Local 12 which focuses on the Hispanic community in the greater Cincinnati area.  She has also reported and hosted in English for Local 12.

Sasha is Swiss/Mexican by parentage, and speaks Spanish, English, German and French.
